The Virginia Cedarwood is a slow-growing, coniferous evergreen, reaching heights of 33 meters. It has reddish heartwood and bears brown cones. Also known as Red Cedar, it is from the family Cupressaceae. Cedarwood Virginian is a species of a Juniper tree, as reflected in its Latin name. It has an aroma similar to a freshly sharpened pencil, although it is more complex. Cedarwood Virginian is popularly used in products formulated for men, due to its woodsy, outdoor scent. Cedarwood Virginian Oil is reputed to calm nervous tension and states of anxiety. It is an expectorant and useful in treating hemorrhoids, deterring moths and other insects, and will act as a mild astringent. This oil is a very powerful antiseptic, fungicidal, and anti-seborrhea (helps with dandruff, hair loss, and oily hair).

Smells like cedarwood! they have great quality oils. I love to diffuse this one with some orange, great for relaxing.
This Cedarwood blends beautifully. I have found that it does stay true in CP soap making and the fragrance does not morph.
