Chamomile is native to Europe & Western Asia; it grows 90-125 cm high with very hairy leaves and tubular yellow flowers, surrounded by white ligules. "Chamomile" is derived from the Greek word chamomaela or ground apple, referring to the fact that the plant grows low to the ground, and the fresh blooms have a pleasing apple-scent.Bergamot, Clary Sage, Lavender, Geranium, Jasmine, Neroli, Patchouli, Tea Tree, Rose, Lemon and Ylang-ylang.
Note / Strength of Aroma: A medium middle note; herbaceous fragrance similar to that of freshly mown straw, only with a dry, almost bittersweet note.
I love to use this fragrant blue essential oil on my face with jojoba oil or helichrysum floral water as a carrier. so full-bodied a fragrance and so calming. I have not tried the other chamomiles yet, but this one is wonderful.
Top-quality Chamomile at a wonderful price. I use this in a blend for children to calm them.
