Palmarosa oil is extracted from Cymbopogon Martini by the steam distillation method. The fluid can vary its color from light yellow to yellow color. Palmarosa essential oil is very rich in phenolic acids, polyphenols, and flavonoids, which act as antioxidants.
Cymbopogon Martini has a very strong and sweet fragrance similar to rose which makes it cultivated in many places of the world. However, the plant is native to India and Indo-china. It is valued for its vital component Geraniol which is used for medicinal purposes.

Note / Strength of Aroma:Â A middle note of strong aroma, the Palmarosa has a soft, sweet floral scent.Basil, bergamot, cedarwood atlas and virginian, fennel, frankincense, geranium, lavender, lemongrass, linaloe wood, lemon, mandarin, neroli, orange, pine, rose and ylang ylang.
It gives good results if mixed in glycerine rosewater and lemon. Gives beneficial results when used regularly. I would love to order again once finished
Very good fragrance. Goes well with other fragrances too. Used to make soaps.
